Paint Helper

Job Summary: Advantage Metal Products is seeking aPaint Helperto support our powder coating and finishing department. This position assists with preparing metal parts, handling materials, and maintaining equipment to ensure finished products meet quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and interested in working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: Assist with preparing (masking) metal parts before painting or powder coating Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, masking, and plugging parts Hang and remove parts from racks during the coating process Support powder coaters and painters with tools and materials Inspect parts for basic quality issues before and after coating Maintain a clean and organized work area Clean and maintain painting and coating equipment Follow all company safety procedures and protocols Move materials and finished parts within the production area Ensure work orders and job instructions are followed

Qualifications: Ability to mask parts Previous experience in manufacturing, painting, powder coating, or construction is a plus Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Experience in a sheet metal or manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable working with tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00
