All keys must be signed forFollow key procedure and do not let guests in rooms – block room worked on with the cartAlways be careful not to make excessive noise in the guest room areas at any time during the day or night while you are on the floor.Proceed straight to the linen room, removing cart, and start to make up rooms in your section. Check-out will be done first; the only exception to this is a special request. Continue from room to room. Respect all Do Not Disturb signs and late check outs, verify with supervisor before knocking on door.Clean rooms according to established procedures with correct chemicals and toolsTidy up cart and return it to linen room at end of shift.Follow Lost and Found procedure turning in any item you find, put in a bag with room number and date on a noteAnd, any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's values.Essential Functions:Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.Ability to visually check work, work area, and hotel space.Minimum lifting of 30 pounds.Other Requirements:Knowledge of English and local languageAbility to deal with the public in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to communicate with all managers, supervisors and fellow associatesAbility to handle conflict situations in a professional mannerBe well groomed and conform to the hotel's dress codeWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
