About the role
Empowered Hospitality is recruiting a General Manager on behalf of a growing fast-casual restaurant client in Queens and Manhattan. We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused operator who can lead a high-performing team while driving strong restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and guest experience
- Coach, develop, and motivate the management and hourly teams
- Manage labor, food costs, inventory, scheduling, and other key KPIsMaintain high standards for food quality, safety, cleanliness, and service
- Drive sales and identify opportunities to improve restaurant performance
- Build a positive, accountable, and high-energy team culture
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of hospitality or fast-casual restaurant experience
- Previous restaurant management experience with strong team leadership skills
- Experience managing P&L, labor, food costs, and operational KPIsHands-on, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
