As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg and JBA Trucking team. We are currently hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Wilmington, CA branch. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to transportation operations, including ordering supplies, coordinating with the corporate office, managing documentation, and assisting shop and dispatch functions. Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordination: Process and maintain invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities, including customer billing, subhauler payments, monthly reconciliations, and documentation batching. Operational Reporting & Data Management: Track fuel usage, operating hours, haul activity, and recap reporting while maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets to support operational and financial processes. Communication & Customer Service: Serve as a central point of contact by managing incoming calls, directing inquiries to appropriate departments, and communicating professionally with customers, drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Payroll & Timekeeping Administration: Maintain employee timekeeping records and support payroll-related processes through accurate tracking and reporting of hours worked. Collaboration & Operational Support: Work collaboratively with management and cross-functional teams to support daily transportation operations, prioritize tasks effectively, and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 2 years of administrative experience Technical Skills: Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, as well as proficiency in basic math operations and data sorting. Office Equipment: Knowledge of standard office equipment operation. Clerical Procedures: Understanding of clerical and administrative procedures and systems, such as filing and record keeping. Office Administration: Knowledge of basic office administration principles and practices. Work Environment Physical Conditions: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas.
