About the role
We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in Arizona. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, to deliver comprehensive preventative geriatric primary care. The ideal candidate will provide attentive patient care, maintain accurate coding and charting, and utilize their tech-savvy skills to manage a diverse patient panel, striving to minimize hospital admissions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver preventative geriatric primary care to a diverse patient panel.
Manage cases across high, emerging, and low-risk categories.
Provide care for conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia.
Address CHF, CAD, and other cardiovascular conditions.
Treat COPD, asthma, CKD, and thyroid disorders.
Manage osteoarthritis and chronic pain.
Address dementia, cognitive decline, falls, mobility issues, and osteoporosis.
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and infections.
