Group Home Manager – Central PhoenixLegend DDD Services Phoenix and surrounding Central Valley areas Full-Time | Salary PositionFREE Health BenefitsPosition Summary: Legend DDD Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple traditional group homes. As a vital part of our leadership team, you'll ensure high-quality care, staff performance, and compliance with DDD and agency regulations. This is a safety-sensitive position reporting to the Traditional/DTA Operations Manager and Assistant Director.Key Responsibilities:Resident Care & Oversight:Prepare for and attend ISP meetings as neededMaintain communication with family, guardians, and support coordinatorsConduct weekly audits and maintain complete resident filesMonitor and ensure cleanliness and readiness of personal equipmentProvide transportation and support for appointments and outingsMedical Responsibilities:Monitor residents' health and report changes to leadershipOversee and coordinate medical appointments and follow-upEnsure accurate and timely MARs and medication trackingComplete PCSP goals and documentationEnsure all medical documentation is updated and compliantStaff Management:Create and manage staffing schedulesEnsure appropriate staff-to-client ratiosTrain, support, and supervise DSPs and group home staffEnforce compliance with certifications: Article 9, CPR/1st Aid, Prevention & Support, Fingerprint ClearanceConduct regular staff meetings and attend management training sessionsFacility & Budget Management:Perform weekly walkthroughs to ensure survey readinessOversee grocery shopping, petty cash, and client fundsManage upkeep of group home vehicles (maintenance, registration, safety checks)Minimum Qualifications:At least 1 year of management experience (group home experience preferred)Ability to work flexible hours and locationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationMust be 21+ years of ageMust obtain within 90 days of hire (if not already certified):Article 9Prevention and SupportCPR/1st AidClass 1 Fingerprint Clearance CardKey Competencies:Strong leadership and team developmentAdaptability and flexibility in work schedule and locationsExcellent verbal and written communication (in English)Ability to stay calm and supportive during crisisOrganizational and documentation skillsConfidentiality and professionalismPhysical & Environmental Expectations:Frequent: standing, walking, sitting, stooping, handlingContinual: hearing, talking, visionOccasional: crouching, crawlingMust be able to lift, reposition, and assist clients regularlyPerks:FREE health benefitsSupportive leadership teamOpportunities for advancementMake a direct, meaningful impact every day
