About the role

Essential Job Functions: Review outgoing DO’s hand-off and handle email correspondence Communicate with all Heian Operators and KVAL regarding tool changes/startup issues Generate Hardware pile reports, identify doors to be processed and deliver to DET Outfeed Assist all Heian area operators when necessary Conduct tooling changes/adjustments as needed on all Heian machines Clean tool holder in tooling room Setup bit in tooling room Manage hour-by-hour “white boards” with operators Complete various paperwork, charts, and spreadsheets Assist operators with troubleshooting Complete shut-down activities All other tasks assigned by Department Manager or Department Lead Position Requirements Participate in daily production meetings Complete all LMS training as assigned Complete 5S checklist Follow SOP/SPL in each area All team members are expected to adhere to VT’s Safety Policies and Procedures at all times. All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries.
Qualifications: Understand both English and metric lineal measurements Excellent math skills Excellent communication skills Excellent mechanical skills Intermediate computer skills Knowledgeable about door types May need to handle hazardous material and take appropriate training to do so
