About the role
Lathe Operator Our client is a full service company specializing in thermoforming tool design & manufacturing of high-performance, dedicated mold and trim assemblies to exact customer specifications. The operator ensures that lathe machines run safely and efficiently to build exact pieces based on blueprints. This role requires checking measurements, changing worn tools, and doing basic machine upkeep Machine Setup: Load raw materials, install cutting tools, and adjust chucks or fixtures. Operation: Start the machine, watch the cutting process, and pause the system if errors happen. Quality Check: Measure finished items with tools like calipers and micrometers to match blueprint rules. Maintenance: Clear metal chips, clean the work zone, and check coolant or oil levels. Safety: Follow factory rules, wear safety glasses, and report broken parts to supervisors.
