About the role
To support the Office for Human Research Protections, the part-time Human Subjects Educator and Communications Consultant will develop and deliver training and communications focused on human subjects protections and compliance, working remotely while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Developing high-quality educational products and delivering training programs to enhance regulatory understanding across the research community
Interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders while monitoring regulatory developments and best practices
Managing multiple education and outreach projects from planning through implementation and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and compliance
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in health or science
10+ years of relevant professional experience in human subjects research protections and educational outreach
Comprehensive knowledge of human subjects research regulations, including the Common Rule and IRB operations
Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
