About the role
- Support the review and disposition non-conforming material, ensuring proper documentation, risk assessment, and timely resolution
- Lead and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis, implementation, and effectiveness verification
- Manage quality STOPS/SLAMS as needed to contain risk and protect product quality
- Conduct and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits; ensure timely closure of audit findings
- Track and report key quality system metrics, including nonconformance trends, CAPA effectiveness, and audit performance
- Review product and process specifications to ensure compliance and proper interpretation in manufacturing
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
- Support continuous improvement of quality systems, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Train and guide personnel on quality requirements, procedures, and compliance expectations
- Working knowledge of SA&C production processes
- Familiarity with quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.)Experience with quality management systems and document control process
- Skilled inStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
