Position: Physician Assistant
Location: Burlington, VT Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week
Position Overview: Seeking a compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide onsite primary care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Provide primary care to residents in long-term care settings. Conduct physical exams and assess medical histories. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness. Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams. Educate residents and families regarding treatment and care plans.
Qualifications: Active and unrestricted PA license in Vermont. Minimum 6 months of long-term care or skilled nursing experience. Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care to seniors. Ability to perform required physical and clinical duties.
