About the role
- Product Design experience within membership-based, nonprofit, advocacy, social impact, community-focused, or mission-driven organizations
- Strong consumer-facing (B2C) product design experience
- Demonstrated Service Design expertise, including customer/member journey mapping, service blueprinting, and omnichannel experiences
- Experience growing, engaging, and retaining members, customers, subscribers, or communities through digital products
- Ability to own work from strategy and discovery through UX, design systems, hands-on high-fidelity UI design, implementation, and delivery. This role requires active design execution, not solely strategy, research, or design leadership
- Strong Figma expertise, including design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns
- Deep understanding of user research, experimentation, analytics, and customer insights
- Experience building or evolving design standards, governance, and design systems
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Experience thoughtfully incorporating AI tools into the design process to accelerate workflows, research, prototyping, and collaboration
- Defining product and member experience strategy across multiple digital products
- Creating seamless member journeys across products, channels, and touchpoints
- Leading Service Design initiatives that connect digital and non-digital experiences
- Building and evolving scalable design systems and governance practices
- Creating and communicating high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Influencing product roadmaps and strategic decision-making
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership teams
- Mentoring design resources while remaining actively involved in execution
