Truss Assembler / General Laborer We are seeking a dependable Truss Assembler / General Laborer to support production in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting in the assembly of roof and floor trusses, performing general labor duties, and supporting material handling operations as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting. Assist in the assembly of wood trusses according to specifications and production guidelines. Operate or assist with forklift operations as needed for material movement and staging. Read and interpret tape measurements accurately. Perform basic math functions to ensure proper cuts, spacing, and assembly accuracy. Support general production and cleanup tasks throughout the facility. Maintain a safe and organized work area at all times. Follow all company safety policies and production standards. Prior construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred but not required. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and fractions. Ability to operate or learn forklift operation (certification a plus).Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Manufacturing and production floor environment. Exposure to loud noise, sawdust, and moving equipment. Requires standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity for extended periods. Fast-paced setting with production deadlines. Safety equipment such as steel-toe boots, gloves, and eye protection may be required.
