About the role

Shield AI is seeking an engineer to bring AI research into autonomous systems that operate in the real world. You will work on multimodal vision, visual foundation models, and embodied AI for autonomous aircraft and vehicles. You’ll evaluate approaches, build prototypes, and drive successful ideas into the Hivemind product, balancing learned methods with classical perception techniques while addressing sensor, software, and compute challenges at the edge.
