Salary Range: $911.33
Qualifications: A. Must be a teacher in good standing with the Bettendorf Community School DistrictB. Must work in the building in which apply for the PBIS Leadership PositionC. Ability to collaborate with teachers and administratorsD. Facilitation, organizational, and management skills. E. Demonstrate the actions of a model educator: active collaboration, support of all students and colleagues, use of data to drive instructional decision making, engagement in learning, communication with all stakeholders, and celebration of success. F. Such alternatives to the above as the District may find appropriate and acceptable.
Responsibilities: The PBIS team helps to drive your initiatives forward, both schoolwide and at the classroom level. The efforts of this team is critical to the success of PBIS in the building. The purpose of this leadership team is to align with the SEBH school improvement goals. The most basic duties of members of this team include:
  • Attend regular PBIS Tier 1 meetings (typically bi-weekly)
  • Analyze and review Tier 1 Data Points
  • Continue establishing a schoolwide behavior matrix which ties to the districtwide behavior matrix
Assist in promoting and completing the Tiered Fidelity Inventory, Self Assessment Survey, and other PBIS Surveys. Analyze data collected from students, staff and families regarding Tier 1 needs. Actively use data for problem-solving and action planning. Attend training opportunities Evaluate and adjust school-wide classroom and non-classroom building-wide expectations Promote and support PBIS to all students, staff, and parents Engage students, families, and other key partners in implementation efforts Develop, plan, organize and deliver professional development around PBIS and SEBHMonitor and evaluate effectiveness by creating and implementing fidelity measures. Participate in conducting building walkthroughs for PBIS fidelity and PBIS needs assessment Other duties assigned, as determined by the work of this team. Plan and assist in leading PD around PBIS and other necessary trainingsEVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually by building administrator(s)
