About the role

Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer Sohacki Industries is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. This hands-on position reports to the Quality Manager and ensures manufactured components meet customer and engineering requirements. Responsibilities & Preferred Skills Perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision-machined components, including first-piece, in-process, final, and First Article inspections. Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment; PC-DMIS experience preferred. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and indicators. Complete inspection documentation and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).Identify nonconforming parts and work with production to resolve quality concerns. Experience with CNC machining, AS9100, ISO 9001, and/or AS9102 is a plus. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, communication, and problem-solving skills. Quality inspection experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
