Laser Operator Ready to take your laser operation skills to the next level? Our client is seeking a Laser Operator to join their manufacturing team in South Bend, IN. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications. Location: South Bend, IN
Pay Range: $20-$25/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift:
1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMWhat's the Job? Set up and operate laser cutting equipment to run production jobs efficiently. Monitor output and make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality. Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions to ensure correct part production. Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and equipment. Accurately count, label, and record production data; identify material types and verify proper material usage. What's Needed? Minimum of 1 year of CNC or laser operation experience. Bystronic laser experience preferred. Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures. Experience identifying and working with various metal computer skills and data entry experience; ability to follow directions and work independently. What's in it for me?
