POSITION PURPOSE: The Customer Care Coordinator is responsible for assisting customers across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and web chat. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills. The Customer Care Coordinator will work closely with the Customer Care team and other departments to help proactively identify customer needs, resolve issues, and support the overall goals and strategy of the company. This is a seasonal position supporting the busy holiday season. There is potential for a hybrid work schedule based on performance, training completion, business needs, and manager approval. Overtime opportunities may also be available during peak periods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers through phone, email, and web chat. Assist current and potential customers by answering questions about products, orders, services, promotions, shipping, and general company information. Resolve product or service concerns by clarifying the customer's issue, determining the cause, identifying the appropriate solution, and following up to ensure resolution. Provide a positive and professional customer experience during every interaction. Recommend potential products or services to management by gathering customer feedback and identifying customer needs and trends. Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve customer concerns and improve the overall customer experience. Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance. Be available to work Monday–Sunday at various scheduled times, including weekends and peak holiday periods. Schedules will be communicated in advance. Be willing to work additional hours and overtime when available and needed during peak business periods. Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to remain professional, patient, and positive when handling challenging customer interactions. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable learning new technology, software, and systems.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in eCommerce, retail, hospitality, food, or other customer-facing industries is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided; candidates do not need to have a background in the beef or food industry. SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENTSeasonal position supporting the holiday season starting October through end of December Schedule may include Monday–Sunday availability, including weekends and holidays as needed. Scheduling will be provided in advance. Thanksgiving and Christmas day off. Potential for a hybrid work schedule based on performance, training completion, business needs, and manager approval. Overtime opportunities may be available during peak business periods. Fast-paced, team-oriented customer service environment.
