Role Description: The Service Manager – Security Systems is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the security systems service department, including managing service technicians, scheduling and prioritizing work orders, and ensuring timely, high-quality resolution of customer issues. The Service Manager coordinates preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and troubleshooting activities across electronic security platforms. Responsibilities include monitoring service performance, maintaining documentation, supporting compliance with security standards, and serving as a primary point of contact for customer escalations. The role also involves collaborating with sales and engineering teams, optimizing service processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities: Dispatching of service technicians. Implementing standardization across service technicians. Site visits to meet with customers as needed. Holding weekly service meetings. Procurement of materials and tracking equipment. Meeting timelines and expectations. Communication with external customers, vendors, and manufacturers. Updating the dispatch board and forecasting. Creating estimates and engineering as needed. Tracking monthly billings and sending invoices. Generating department revenue.
