About the role
Job Title: Project Portfolio Analyst
Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire
Pay:
60-70/hr W2Location: 5 days onsite, Chicago, ILSummaryJoin a dynamic organization as a Project Portfolio Analyst, where you will play a critical role in establishing and enhancing best practices for IT project and portfolio management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred 7+ years of IT project management experience, including project planning, execution, and stakeholder managementPMI/PMP certification or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience developing and implementing project management methodologies, policies, and governance processes
- Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare IT or hospital information systems is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve project and portfolio management best practices, policies, and procedures
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership
- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from planning to post-implementation review
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource estimates, and status reports
- Track key performance indicators, monitor project progress, and adjust as needed to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
