Position Title: Student Worker - Post Office (Work-Study)
Job Description:
The appointed individual will: Be able to work independently as well as within a team environment. Collect/sort/deliver mail throughout campus, case incoming/outgoing USPS, and campus mail. Clerk service counter and other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
A current driver's license and violation-free driving record. Once hired, the student will need to provide a copy of their driving record and must pass a university driving test prior to driving the university vehicle. Salary and Hours: Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland. Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week. Full Time/Part Time: Part time. Experience a professional environment. Apply theory to the practical world. Expand career knowledge and assess career interests. Build leadership, communication, and other marketable skills. Enhance confidence. Why do I want to work on campus? You will gain great work experience. Earn money (pay rate is Maryland minimum wage). Have a job that is arranged according to your class schedule. You will cultivate real work references.
