About the role

EXECUTIVE / PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO CO-FOUNDER & CTO – NYCNew York City – Union Square area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, general business hours with flexibility as needed; not a 24/7 role
Salary: 130K-180K Doe plus
Benefits: We are seeking an exceptionally sharp, organized, and proactive Executive/Personal Assistant to support the Co-Founder & CTO of a successful technology company. Based in the Union Square area, this is a true EA/PA hybrid role that will fluctuate week to week depending on the principal’s business and personal priorities. The ideal candidate is smart, highly detail-oriented, and excellent at staying on top of someone who moves quickly and may not always have the bandwidth to provide extensive direction or follow-up. This person must be comfortable creating structure, maintaining detailed checklists, following up consistently, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. The principal is extremely intelligent, kind, and gracious. He is also direct and likes to get to the point. He appreciates someone who can communicate similarly—clearly, efficiently, and without taking things personally.
Responsibilities will include: Managing a dynamic calendar, schedule, appointments, and ongoing priorities Staying ahead of deadlines, commitments, follow-ups, and action items Maintaining detailed checklists and ensuring outstanding items are completed Proactively following up with the principal to obtain information, decisions, or approvals when needed Helping keep the principal organized, focused, and on point Managing personal appointments, health and wellness needs, and lifestyle logistics Ensuring the home is stocked, organized, and running smoothly Handling errands, reservations, purchases, research, and miscellaneous personal needs Assisting with occasional needs for the Founder and broader team as appropriate Anticipating needs and taking ownership rather than waiting to be asked The right person understands that supporting a busy entrepreneur sometimes means having to respectfully chase information, circle back more than once, and figure out how to get things done even when it can be difficult to pull answers from the principal. We are looking for someone polished, resourceful, discreet, and genuinely proactive—someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes keeping a busy executive organized and making his life easier. This is an excellent opportunity for an EA/PA who enjoys a true hybrid role and wants to work with a highly intelligent, successful technology entrepreneur in a fast-moving but respectful environment.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
