About the role
Ventas Group is seeking a strategic and driven Business Development Directorto lead sales execution and drive revenue growth for a premier global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions of complex electronics.
In this role, you will have primary responsibility for ensuring the performance center sales plan ( Annual Operating Plan - AOP ) is achieved. Reporting directly to a Corporate Vice President you will execute targeted sales plans focused onBookings, winning new business, and building a robust backlogto support long-range growth objectives.

They specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Director will support proposal execution, collaborate with performance center teams, and provide exceptional sales leadership by:
Market Strategy: Maintaining deep knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and the customer base to support AOP and site objectives.
Proposals & Presentations: Preparing, presenting, and delivering comprehensive sales, marketing, and technical proposals.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and tailoring formal proposals to client specifications.
Goal Setting:
Establishing concrete sales goals and executing strategic sales plans.
Industry Representation: Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, seminars, and technical symposiums.
Client Relationship Management: Traveling frequently to foster deep face-to-face customer relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications Aerospace Expertise:10 years + of appropriate sales experience in relevant markets with demonstrated success. In-depth knowledge of the aerospace market, electronics, and box build, including the aftermarket sector. In-depth knowledge of the industry bid and contract process.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel 50% of the timefor face-to-face meetings at customer locations.
Organization & Agility: Proven capability to plan itineraries, write proposals, and meet monthly reporting requirements while managing competing, short-notice deadlines.
Communication & Leadership: Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Tech-Savvy: Ability to utilize business-essential tools, including CRM platforms.
Self-Motivation: A motivated self-starter who can effectively juggle multiple high-priority tasks.
