About the role
A leading distributor of building materials is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive sales growth, increase market share and profitability, and enhance sales efficiencies across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Outside Sales Representatives, overseeing their performance, setting sales quotas, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Outside Sales Representatives, setting and monitoring sales quotas. Improve overall sales performance, increase market share, and drive profitability across branches. Implement strategies to enhance sales efficiencies and improve customer service standards. Communicate effectively with upper management, staff, and clients at all levels. Introduce new ideas and strategies to strengthen the company's market position.
Qualifications:
Proven sales management experience in building materials distribution. Track record of managing and motivating a successful sales team. Strong ability to meet and exceed customer service expectations. Excellent business acumen and communication skills. Innovative mindset, capable of contributing new ideas to enhance the company's success. Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience is highly valued.
