Role Description:
The Office Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Perth Amboy, NJ. This role is responsible for managing daily office operations, including handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, coordinating mail and deliveries, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. The Office Coordinator will schedule meetings, prepare basic documents and reports, and support internal teams with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping. The role also includes assisting with customer inquiries, directing requests to the appropriate contacts, and ensuring a professional and organized office environment. Collaboration with team members and adherence to company policies and procedures are central to the position.
Qualifications:
Strong administrative assistance skills, including organizing records, managing schedules, and supporting office workflows. Effective phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle calls, inquiries, and visitor interactions professionally. Ability to operate and troubleshoot common office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines. Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders. Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets); familiarity with office management systems is a plus. Proven attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in office administration are beneficial. Prior experience in an office coordination, administrative, or customer-facing role is preferred.
