? Machine Operator - Press Brake? Oakland, NJ $18.00/hour (Firm Rate)1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM? Contract to Hire Zing is hiring an experienced Press Brake Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Oakland, NJ. If you have experience operating Press Brake equipment, reading blueprints, and producing quality parts in a machine shop environment, we'd like to hear from you!
What You'll Do: Set up and operate Press Brake machinery according to work orders and engineering drawings. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, and other precision measuring tools. Make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet quality specifications. Troubleshoot machine and program issues as needed. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Accurately report completed work orders and inventory in Oracle. Maintain tooling and keep a clean, organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Press Brake experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience using calipers, protractors, and other measuring instruments.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime and Saturdays. Schedule
  • Monday-Friday6:00 AM to 2:30 PMOccasional overtime required.
  • Flexibility to work some Saturdays. Pay$18.00/hour (Firm Rate)
