If you've succeeded in automotive sales, you already understand how to build rapport quickly, identify what matters to a customer, present solutions, overcome objections, and close. GOL Security is looking for motivated sales professionals who want to apply those same skills to the residential security, surveillance, and smart-home industry. No security experience is required. Automotive sales experience is highly valued. Why Automotive Salespeople? What You'll Be Doing:
You'll meet with homeowners and help them build customized security, surveillance, and smart-home solutions based on their property, priorities, and budget. This is an outside-sales position—not a desk job. You'll prospect, work company-provided opportunities, conduct in-home consultations, build relationships, follow up with prospects, and close new accounts. What GOL Provides Fresh homeowner opportunities Our team provides access to very recent new-homeowner lead data, helping reps focus their prospecting on people actively transitioning into a new home. Established product & monitoring platformGOL Security is an Authorized Vector Security Dealer offering professional monitored security, surveillance, and automation solutions. Local service Customers aren't simply handed off after the sale. GOL locally services the accounts we sell. Sales tools & materials Representatives receive professional sales materials, business cards, and a personalized QR code prospects can use to request an appointment. Training & support You don't need previous security experience. We'll help you learn the products, services, sales process, and industry. Compensation This is a 1099 independent-contractor, commission-based sales opportunity. There is no base salary, draw, or mileage reimbursement. We want candidates to understand the compensation structure upfront. This opportunity is best suited for someone comfortable being paid based on performance and looking for meaningful upside from their sales ability. Who We're Looking For Automotive sales experience is preferred, but we're especially interested in people who are:- Competitive and self-motivated- Comfortable approaching and talking with new people- Coachable- Professional- Strong communicators- Comfortable with performance-based compensation- Consistent with follow-up- Motivated by closing and earning- Able to manage their schedule independently Experience in automotive sales, powersports, RV sales, furniture sales, wireless sales, home improvement, roofing, solar, pest control, or other commission-driven environments can translate especially well.
