The Children's Clinic, Serving Children and Their Families is a non-profit community clinic (FQHC) serving low-income patients of all ages at thirteen sites and a mobile van in Long Beach. We are seeking Dentists who are mission driven and committed to serving the community.
Job Summary:
Performs professional general dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice dentistry in the California
Graduate of a formal accredited school of dentistry
FQHC experience preferred
Working knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of dental and oral diseases
Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices methods, and techniques of dentistry
Working knowledge of preventive dentistry and educational methodologies utilized in prevention
Skill in oral operative techniques
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff
Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet, and Practice Management Systems
Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
Proven reliability, trustworthiness, flexibility, and high ethical standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Interest in working with diverse ethnic groups
Demonstrated ability to treat all individuals with respect, empathy and compassion
