Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity The Traveling Assembly Technician is responsible for performing and executing final assembly on components and purchased parts for our equipment. This role requires acute attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
The ideal candidate will have: 1–2 years of electrical experience, 3 years of assembly experience, and the ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools and equipment.
Essential Functions:
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
  • Perform final assembly on both manufactured sub assembly components and purchased parts
  • Identify and communicate assembly issues, defects, or discrepancies to supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards
  • Inspect components and completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and assembly standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reports directly to assembly lead
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to follow both written and oral work instructions
  • Travel as required to support assembly activities at various locations

Experience/Education High school or equivalent 3 years of assembly experience 1-2 years of electrical experience Ability to lift and move heavy objects with or without accommodations Ability to use forklift Work independently as well as in teams Ability to route and connect electrical harnesses Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Able to recognize, own and act on assembly problems or errors and recommend corrections Must be proficient in accuracy and attention to detail Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
