Role Description: This is a remote, contract role for a Senior Sales Representative on Manifest Partners' Legal Industry Division. This division is dedicated to serving law firms, legal technology companies, and legal services organizations with tailored consulting, marketing, and technology solutions. The Senior Sales Representative will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise legal clients, including Am Law firms, boutique practices, legal tech companies, and legal marketing agencies. This role includes managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution. The representative will collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and technology teams to tailor solutions for the unique needs of legal industry clients and ensure a smooth handoff into delivery. Day-to-day work involves building and nurturing a pipeline within the legal sector, conducting discovery calls and service presentations, maintaining accurate CRM records, and providing regular forecasts and performance updates to leadership. The person in this role will also gather market and customer insights from the legal landscape to inform go-to-market strategies and refine sales approaches.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales within the legal industry — including experience at a law firm, legal technology company, legal marketing agency, or in a role selling products/services directly to law firms.
  • Existing book of business or established network of contacts within the legal sector (law firm decision-makers, C-suite, Managing Partners, CMOs, COOs, or Directors of Business Development) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in legal marketing, lead generation for law firms, or legal tech sales is a strong plus.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management, with experience using CRM tools to track opportunities and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in solution selling, including conducting discovery, aligning client needs with services, and developing tailored proposals and presentations for legal professionals.
  • Effective negotiation and closing abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a senior or lead sales capacity.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex consulting, marketing, or technology concepts into clear business value for legal audiences.
  • Experience working in a remote, cross-functional environment and collaborating with strategy, creative, and technical teams.
  • Strong business acumen, including familiarity with law firm operations, legal industry trends, and data-driven decision-making in professional services.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing environments, with a proactive, self-directed approach to organizing work and achieving goals.
