Maintenance Lubrication Technician Laredo, TXThe Maintenance Lubrication Technician performs lubrication activities on the mills, including peripheral equipment, as well as housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the company's facilities, both indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities: Lubricate mills and related equipment. Clean and wash mechanical parts and equipment. Assist with routine industrial maintenance activities. Help maintain equipment cleanliness and support reliable machine operation.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, preferably as a mechanic's helper or in a related role. Basic mechanical knowledge. Knowledge of industrial lubrication and basic metrology (measurement).Basic electrical knowledge.
Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for extended periods. Handle tools and materials using hands and arms. Bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach as needed. Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, 50 lbs. frequently, and over 100 lbs. occasionally.
Working Conditions: Exposure to moving machinery and mechanical parts. Possible exposure to smoke, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. High noise levels in the industrial work environment.
