About the role
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to assist in the enforcement of judgments through various legal remedies, including garnishments, levies, and liens. This role requires strong organizational skills, a working knowledge of post-judgment collection procedures, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file post-judgment pleadings and legal documents related to enforcement actions.
Monitor case files to track enforcement progress, deadlines, and court requirements.
Communicate professionally with courts, process servers, employers, financial institutions, and other third parties to facilitate judgment enforcement.
Coordinate the service of process, electronic filing, and mailing of post-judgment documents.
Follow up on outstanding or pending post-judgment actions to ensure timely resolution.
Provide general administrative support, including scanning, organizing, filing, and drafting correspondence related to post-judgment matters.
