Team members join a fast-growing, mission-driven organization focused on scaling EV infrastructure across the country.
Role Description: This full-time remote Electrical Estimator role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for EV charging and electrical installation projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing plans and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, and developing detailed project estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractors. The Electrical Estimator collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and electrical contracting partners to align scope, budget, and schedule. The role also involves analyzing historical cost data, identifying cost-control opportunities, and supporting bid proposals and pricing strategies. Team members are expected to maintain clear documentation, use estimation software and tools, and contribute to continuous improvement in estimating and project delivery processes.
Qualifications: Strong Electrical Estimating skills, including preparing detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment. Knowledge of Cost Control practices, such as budget tracking, variance analysis, and value engineering. Experience in Electrical Contracting environments, understanding field operations, installation methods, and industry standards. Solid understanding of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles relevant to EV charging and commercial/residential projects. Proficiency with estimating and project management software, spreadsheets, and digital collaboration tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and building codes; familiarity with NEC and local regulations is beneficial. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate across teams. Relevant technical education or apprenticeship in electrical trades, engineering, or construction management; prior experience estimating EV infrastructure or renewable energy projects is a plus. Compensation This role offers a total on‑target earnings (OTE) range of $90,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience and performance in the role. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) participation, discretionary time off, and other employee perks. More detail on benefits and commission plan structure will be provided during the interview process, but the range above reflects our most reasonable, good‑faith expectations for total compensation for this role. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
