Requirements:
DEA Registration General Dentistry Licensed dentist Licensure: Valid Connecticut State Dental License. Registrations: Current DEA registration and Controlled Substance registration. Professional Standards: Active Malpractice Insurance and a valid NPI number. Clinical Proficiency: Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex clinical information clearly to patients.
Job Description:
Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments, including restorative, endodontic, and oral surgery procedures. Treatment Planning: Develop and discuss personalized treatment plans with patients, ensuring they understand their options and the importance of oral health. Patient Management: Provide gentle and effective care for patients of all ages, managing dental anxieties and building long-term trust. Supervision: Lead and collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient clinical flow and adherence to safety protocols. Compliance: Maintain accurate electronic patient records and ensure all clinical activities comply with state and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA.
