Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Account Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Niles, OH. This role will manage client accounts, oversee tax and accounting services, and work directly with individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. The position also offers a direct pathway to equity ownership in the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of individual, business, and non-profit clients. Prepare and review individual, corporate, and non-profit tax returns. Prepare and analyse financial statements and identify variances. Provide tax planning, accounting analysis, and financial recommendations. Coordinate attestation and consulting engagements. Communicate directly with clients and address accounting/tax questions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Collaborate with the internal team and support process improvements.
Qualifications:
Active CPA license required. Public accounting and client management experience preferred. Strong tax preparation and accounting/financial analysis skills. Experience with individual, corporate, and non-profit tax returns. Strong Excel, accounting, and tax software skills. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
