About the role

Woodhull LLC is seeking a motivated, mechanically skilled Installation & Service Technician to join our growing Woodhull Water operation. This position is responsible for the delivery, installation, setup, testing, troubleshooting, and basic service of Water Dispenser systems at commercial customer locations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with water lines, filtration systems, electrical connections, mechanical equipment, hand tools, and customer-facing installations. Experience with water coolers, ice machines, beverage equipment, commercial appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or copier/service equipment is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Setup: Deliver and safely position Water and Ice equipment at customer locations. Install countertop and freestanding systems. Connect water supply and filtration components. Connect electrical power and verify proper operation. Level and proper positioning of equipment. Configure equipment for customer use. Perform initial startup and system testing. Verify water dispensing, hot water, ambient water, and ice production. Inspect connections for leaks and proper operation. Clean and prepare equipment for customer handoff. Explain basic operation and maintenance to customers. Complete installation documentation and equipment records.
Customer Service: Represent Woodhull professionally at customer locations. Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation and equipment operation. Maintain a clean and professional work area. Answer basic customer questions about the system. Identify additional customer needs and communicate opportunities to Woodhull management. Ensure every installation is completed correctly before leaving the customer site. Required Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Basic understanding of plumbing and water connections. Basic electrical knowledge. Ability to read installation instructions, specifications, and equipment documentation. Ability to lift and move equipment safely. Strong attention to detail. Good organizational and documentation skills. Professional appearance and customer-service skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to travel throughout the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati markets.
