Light Manufacturing Assembler / Production Technician
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Location: Fort Myers, FL.
Pay Rate:
$16.50/hour starting rate, eligible for an increase to $17.00/hour following a 30-day performance review We Are Seeking A Reliable And Detail-Oriented Assembly Technician To Join Our Fast-Paced Production Team In this role, you will assemble specialized commercial building enclosures and utility entry components. You will work with standard hand tools, power drills, and grinding equipment to fabricate high-quality finished products to accurate Manufacturing Assembler /
Production Technician Key Responsibilities:
Fit, align, and join mechanical enclosures, frames, latches, and structural panel components. Safely and efficiently operate hand grinders, power drills, screw drivers, and standard manual hand tools. Fasten, fit, trim, and smooth metal frames and panel inserts to ensure proper tolerances, fitment, and surface finishes. Visually inspect assembled units for alignment, operational hardware functionality, and product defects before transfer to packaging. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and consistently adhere to standard shop safety guidelines and required personal protective equipment (PPE).Light Manufacturing Assembler /
Production Technician Requirements & Qualifications:
Direct experience operating power drills, angle/hand grinders, and common manual assembly tools. Ability to stand, bend, and operate power equipment throughout an 8-hour shift, with the capability to lift up to 50.Consistent punctuality and strong attendance for the standard 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM shift. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative team attitude. Prior experience in light manufacturing, general assembly, metal fabrication, or construction trades is preferred.
