About the role

Description: We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Installer / Metal Building Technician to join our team. This role involves installing sheet metal components on pre-engineered metal buildings, including trim systems, doors, hardware, and weatherproof celebrated assemblies. When not actively installing, the position will assist in material preparation and cutting for welders in a steel fabrication environment. This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop and field environment. Requirements:
  • Proven experience installing sheet metal on metal or steel buildings
  • Strong experience with sheet metal trim systems
  • Proficient with tools such as shears, brakes, drills, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
  • Experience installing doors, hardware, and weather stripping
  • General knowledge of steel fabrication processes
  • Ability to accurately measure and work with metal materials
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or elevated surfaces
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
