Position Overview: JSET is seeking an experienced Data Center Site Superintendentto lead field operations on data center and mission-critical construction projects throughout the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Metro area, with a primary focus on Northern Virginia data center developments. This is a field-based leadership role responsible for directing foremen, coordinating crews, managing daily project execution, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. The Site Superintendent serves as the primary field leader on the project, working closely with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and field personnel to drive schedules, maintain quality standards, and ensure successful project delivery. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills, a solid construction background, and experience managing work in active data center or industrial construction environments.
What You'll Do: Lead daily field operations on active data center and mission-critical construction projects Direct foremen, technicians, and subcontractors throughout project execution Establish daily and weekly work plans, priorities, and manpower allocations Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and site logistics Monitor productivity, schedule performance, and labor utilization Conduct daily site walks and proactively resolve field issues Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements Generate RFIs and support project documentation efforts Enforce safety requirements, quality standards, and company procedures Conduct QA/QC inspections and ensure installations meet project requirements Coordinate material deliveries, inventory management, and tool accountability Approve timecards and verify labor reporting accuracy Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project execution Participate in owner, contractor, and trade coordination meetings Maintain strong customer relationships and represent JSET professionally on-site You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have Experience In: Electrical construction supervision Data center construction and commissioning Mission-critical construction environments Industrial construction supervision Building Automation Systems (BAS) Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) Controls integration projects Managing multiple crews and subcontractors Coordinating manpower, materials, and site logistics Driving project schedules and field productivity Leading projects through installation, startup, testing, and turnover Candidates Often Come From Backgrounds Such As: Data Center Site Superintendent Electrical Superintendent Data Center Superintendent Mission Critical Superintendent General Foreman Controls Superintendent Industrial Superintendent Electrical Construction Manager Senior Foreman ready for the next step Successful candidates are typically individuals who enjoy leading teams, solving field challenges, maintaining accountability, and taking ownership of project execution in fast-paced construction environments.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of electrical, industrial, controls, or construction experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, or comparable field leadership role Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors on active construction sites Strong understanding of construction means and methods Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity management Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to travel throughout the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Metro region as project needs require
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data center projects Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and/or Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) NCCER Certification or State Electrical License Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management platforms Experience with QA/QC programs, inspections, and commissioning support Familiarity with Microsoft, Google, AWS, Meta, or other large-scale data center environments
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment: Primarily field-based role supporting active construction projects Projects located throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the Washington D.C.
