JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: Tube Operator / 12 Pallets / Forklift Operator
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, this employee is responsible for all technical and administrative functions of the tube area and its operation at Dandy Cooling Company. The employee will be responsible for managing and implementing company policies and procedures, including: full operation of the tube area, record documentation, maintenance, preparation of the tube area, and operation of the 12-pallet system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: These tasks are performed individually or in coordination with the Operations Manager. Additional duties may be assigned. Verify, through control panels, that all trailers are in automatic mode and ready for daily operation. Prepare the daily tube operation: change hydraulic vacuum filters, add water, close valves, run the cooling cycle, and ensure filters are clean. Report problems or incidents to supervisors/managers as they occur. Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance in the tube area: check/change oil, lubricate motors and connections, clean tube sprayers, and calibrate tools and instruments. Identify different types of loads and add/mix the correct chemicals. Continuously monitor gauges and indicators and record data. Use the 12-pallet system to separate wet and dry loads and move them to the proper storage areas. Distribute loads to the correct areas within the facility for cooling. Document and complete operator logs hourly, daily, and weekly, including visual inspections and meter readings. Perform other assigned duties. Safety: Uses equipment and materials safely and properly, follows established safety procedures, uses appropriate protective equipment, and applies common-sense safety practices. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure the protection of people, data, property, and facilities.

Knowledge of raw materials, processes, and quality control techniques. Knowledge of equipment, policies, and procedures for safe and efficient operations.

Ability to evaluate performance and take corrective action. Strong coordination and ability to adjust actions based on others. Abilities: Physical strength to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. Education: High school diploma or GED and/or one (1) year of experience in a related field.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret oral and written instructions.
