About the role
Process TechnicianREO Plastics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for overseeing the sampling of new and existing molds, supporting process improvements, in a fast-paced injection molding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing quality control specifications for new molds
- Diagnose molding and process issues and recommend corrective actions
- Research and implement new or improved processes
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Maintain cycle sheets used in production
- Ensure sample tickets are completed properly and on time
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of plastic injection molding methods, processes, and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Computer literacy required; experience with production monitoring software is preferred
- Tools & Equipment UsedLaptop computer
- Excel and other spreadsheet tools
- Phone, email, calculator, and camera
- Safety & Physical Requirements
- Ability to understand and comply with all plant safety rules and regulations
- Safety glasses required in all plant areas; hearing protection required where applicable
- Steel-toed boots recommended
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Must have good vision and the ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the plant for extended periods
