Our team is responsible for various quality inspection responsibilities including receiving supplied material/parts, in-process inspection of product, and final acceptance product. The Quality Inspector will also be responsible for reviewing completed work instructions and inspection checklists for errors, improvement suggestions, lot traceability, and record retention. Essential Functions / Responsibilities as a Quality Inspector: Receiving Inspection of materials and services; involving physical inspection and review of vendor certifications Inspection of internally manufactured parts and final assemblies throughout all stages of production; including machining and testing. Responsible for inspection of product in accordance with customer requirements, industry standards, drawings, work instructions, quality inspection procedures, and retention of acceptance documentation/records. Additional responsibilities will include verification of calibrated gaging, and inspection devices and equipment. Inspection will require several disciplines; e.g., visual inspection, conventional metrology (height gages, gage pins, thread plug and ring gages), calipers, micrometers, functional gages, and programmable inspection devices. Other inspection responsibilities as needed On occasion you may be asked to work overtime or second shift to meet customer delivery dates.
