About the role

We are seeking a relationship-driven Loan Officer to join a growing financial institution. This individual will be responsible for developing new lending relationships, guiding clients through the loan process, and building a strong network of referral partners within the local market.
What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients Originate new loan opportunities through networking, referrals, and business development Guide borrowers through the application, approval, and closing process Evaluate borrower needs and recommend appropriate lending solutions Collect and review financial documentation for loan applications Partner with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure a smooth client experience Build relationships with real estate professionals, business owners, financial advisors, and other referral partners Maintain an active pipeline and follow up consistently with prospects and clients Ensure all lending activities comply with applicable policies and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For: Previous lending, banking, mortgage, or financial services experience preferred Strong sales and business development skills Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships Excellent communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline independently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable networking and developing referral relationships Knowledge of lending regulations and loan documentation is a plus
