About the Role: United Premium Foods is seeking an entry-level Analyst to support reporting, data analysis, and business process improvement initiatives at our food manufacturing facility in Woodbridge, NJ. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or an individual with limited professional experience who possesses strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and Power BI experience. The Analyst will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to assist with reporting, dashboard development, data validation, and operational analysis. ERP, manufacturing, and industry-specific knowledge will be developed through on-the-job training. Roles & Responsibilities§ Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Excel and Power BI.§ Support weekly and monthly reporting across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.§ Collect, validate, and analyze operational and inventory data.§ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist with trend analysis.§ Assist with inventory reporting and data accuracy reviews.§ Support process improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.§ Assist with maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.§ Learn and support ERP system processes and reporting functions.§ Participate in cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.§ Promote and uphold a strong workplace safety culture in compliance with OSHA requirements.§ Perform administrative and operational support tasks as required to ensure the efficient functioning of the sales organization. Qualifications§ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.§ Internship, co-op, or project experience involving data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.§ Strong communication skills (verbal and written).§ Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or food production environments.§ Basic familiarity with ERP systems.§ Experience presenting data and insights through dashboards or business reports.§ Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage competing priorities. Soft Skills§ Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. § Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies.§ Positive attitude with a willingness to accept feedback, coaching, and continuous development.§ Dependable, professional, and accountable in meeting deadlines and commitments. § Curiosity and eagerness to learn manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and business processes.
