About the role
Job Summary:
The Emergency Center Technician provides compassionate, high-quality support and clinical care to patients and families under the supervision of the healthcare team. They assist in managing patient flow and ensuring efficient clinic operations while demonstrating the organizations core values.
Responsibilities:
Support patients by delivering respectful and comforting care throughout their visit.
Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks and procedures as directed.
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Facilitate smooth patient flow and workflow within the clinic or emergency setting.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an EMT program is required.
- Current BLS Certification is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Technician in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Emergency department-specific experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
