Construction Scheduler
Location:
Greensboro, Raleigh, or Charlotte, NCWe are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support large commercial electrical construction projects across North Carolina. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, preconstruction, and operations teams to build, maintain, and update project schedules from early planning through completion. The ideal candidate will come from the commercial electrical construction industry and have experience supporting large, complex projects. Background with major hospitals, data centers, or projects in the $25MM–$100MM range is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules from preconstruction through project completion Build and update schedules as milestones, scopes, and project conditions change Develop critical path logic, activity durations, milestones, and constraints Create resource- and cost-loaded schedules Track long-lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables Assess schedule impacts caused by design changes, delays, or scope changes Develop schedule compression and mitigation strategies when projects fall behind Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, contractors, and other project teams Provide schedule updates and progress reporting to leadership Travel to project sites as needed to evaluate progress and update schedules Qualifications 7+ years of experience supporting large commercial or industrial construction projects 2+ years of direct construction scheduling experience Strong experience with critical path scheduling Experience with schedule compression, recovery, and mitigation efforts Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, and project controls Commercial electrical construction experience strongly preferred Experience with large hospital and/or data center projects highly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Bachelor's degree preferred This is a great opportunity for a scheduler who understands large, complex construction projects and enjoys working closely with field and project leadership to keep jobs moving on schedule.
