About the role

Our client, an elevated childrenswear apparel manufacturer is seeking a Packaging Designer to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities: Develop creative and functional packaging and trim solutions across product categories. Create and prepare packaging and trim submissions for review and approval. Ensure designs align with overall brand direction and product requirements. Prepare production-ready artwork and technical files for manufacturing. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the development process. Review samples and final production to ensure designs meet quality and aesthetic standards. Maintain accurate packaging and trim information and production documentation. Translate product features and brand messaging into effective packaging designs. Support the development of private-label packaging and branding materials. Manage multiple projects and timelines from concept through production.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience. Strong understanding of packaging design and production processes. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite programs. Experience preparing artwork and files for production.3D design experience is a plus. Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail, color, and overall design quality. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
