About the role

About the Opportunity: This is a remote, business-development-focused role for an experienced logistics sales professional with a strong understanding of U.S. import operations. The ideal candidate has experience developing customer accounts and providing logistics solutions across international freight and domestic distribution.
What You'll Do: Develop new business with U.S. importers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce businesses Build and manage customer relationships involving international import logistics Provide integrated logistics solutions across ocean freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, customs brokerage, drayage, warehousing, and domestic distribution Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers across supply chain, procurement, and operations Prepare quotations and proposals and participate in commercial negotiations Collaborate with operations, customer service, and international teams to support shipment execution Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and updates Participate in client meetings, industry events, and trade shows Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or NVOCC environments Experience developing and managing U.S.-based customer accounts Strong knowledge of import logistics and international trade lanes, particularly Asia-to-U.S. shipments Understanding of the end-to-end import process, including Incoterms, ISF, customs clearance, drayage, and domestic distribution Demonstrated experience working toward sales goals Strong business development, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant industry experience Ability to travel for client meetings and monthly business reviews in Houston, TX or Los Angeles,
CAPreferred Qualifications: Experience supporting customers in retail, new energy, industrial, recycling, or consumer goods sectors Experience with e-commerce logistics, including Amazon FBA and retail distribution Familiarity with CRM and logistics/TMS systems Experience collaborating with U.S. and international teams
