Description: Summary Instruct adult learners in the areas of Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science. Instructors will be responsible for basic record keeping such as attendance, writing and updating lesson plans, follow up on students who did not attend class, promoting classes in the community with flyers and attending community events, and assisting with orientation and testing. Expectations:-Good communication with supervisor, fellow instructors, and students-Present organized lessons in a face-to-face classroom setting-Be willing to switch to an online class setting if circumstances require-Be flexible-Participate in professional development opportunities-Assist with student recruitment and retention-Be open to learning and trying new things in the classroom-Connect with students and build a positive learning community within your classroom

Qualifications: BA required, BA in Education preferred, basic knowledge of computers Please include a resume and unofficial copy of transcripts.
