About the role

To research and write speeches, remarks, quotes, video messages, presentations and other communications for the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost and other senior university officials as directed. To maintain awareness of key institutional rankings, facts and data, and identify sources and gather information from printed material and interviews with University faculty and staff, institutions, organizations and individuals as appropriate in order to write speeches or prepare other media/content as required by the President or Provost. To lead development of content and graphics for presentations and other key institutional priority initiatives. To work closely with and to conduct special research at the request of the Chief Communications Officer. Salary Range: $77,640 - $105,000 Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
